Another gem from the Cushman Collection at Indiana University. Notice how the western portion of Bernal Heights Boulevard — the part that’s now closed to cars — was open to them then.

    great photo! Look at how low the SF skyline is!

    it seems that I remember that white guard rail/fence. Is it possible it was still standing in the 70s, when I first would have seen it?
