Pascal shot this video yesterday; he saw a big, slithering gopher snake crossing the pavement atop Bernal Hill. Check it out:
Saw the guy (or gal?) a year ago in the same spot. Had a conspicuous belly bulge then: one less gopher eating up the hill.
Go Go Gophers watch them go go go! hopefully into the gullets of critters like this one….

Yes Jasper stopped to sniff one a couple of days ago and as I stood there admiring it I noticed another one close by, quite large and healthy looking.
