Neighbor kc! is a Bernal Heights parent with a kid who attends Miraloma Cooperative Nursery School in Sunnyside. They’re having a benefit auction for the school this weekend, Saturday March 8:

Once a year, my son’s pre-school throws a huge silent and live auction to keep our non-profit, parent-run cooperative preschool going.

It’s coming up soon — won’t you join us?

Saturday, March 8th, 2014, from 6pm – 10pm
The Event Center at St. Mary’s Cathedral
1111 Gough Street, San Francisco
Entrance is $30 — free food and drink included!

Visit the website to register or read more

There are vacation getaways, electronics, sports and travel packages, and as always, free and fantastic food and drink.
(The menu’s at our website if you want to see what’s coming!)

Thanks to all in the community who support early education. Hope to see you there!

Thanks Todd! It’s a really fun event with lots of great prizes to bid on (my wife is in charge of many of the auction items so she has seen the bounty and it is golden!!). Hope to see a lot of my Bernal neighbors at the event tomorrow night!!

On my list to bid is an exclusive ride in the bay on the SFFD Fire Boat!!! No one else bid on that one, okay? :)

  3. exkclamation says:

PS. Oh, and like Toby mentioned, there are lots of great Bernal Heights-based donors too, so you might even be able to grab a few local treats *and* help out a wonderful little school too!

Todd, while a worthy cause it is NOT BERNALWOOD

    • Todd_Lappin says:

Actually, because of the involvement of kc!, it is Bernalwood.

My policy is that news and events need to have a clear “genetic link” to Bernal, either because the item happens in Bernal, OR because Bernal residents play a leading role in making it happen. This rule has been consistently applied, and this event met that criteria.
